These town halls mostly get dragon attacks. Therefore, I would not recommend donating Valkyries as the Poison Spell is available in Th 8, making them easier targets. Here are the best combinations:

1 Baby Dragon, 10 Archers (20) / 1 Baby Dragon, 1 Witch, 3 Archers (25) 1 Dragon, 5 Archers (25) (works sometimes)

Witches are recommended because they take 20-plus seconds to kill, giving you a considerable time advantage.

Th 9

From this town hall, a variety of attacks begin, including the classic queen walk. While a good attacker may still focus on the clan castle (cc) troops, here are some effective combinations:

Dragon and Baby Dragon: Best for air attacks, also works for ground. Baby Dragon, Witch, 2 Wizards (This is how it works): Useful for defeating both air and ground troops.

Th 10

CC troops can sometimes do significant damage and other times be ineffective. If your base is anti-air and always gets attacked by ground troops, the best combination is:

1 Dragon, 3 Loons / Dragon-Loon, 10 Archers (This works fine, provided your cc is centered).

Th 11 is almost impossible to be cleared by air attacks, and the attackers are professionals. To slow them down, new strategies include:
