Discovering the Essence of Allah: Understanding the Creator and Ruler of the Universe
Introduction
Hi There! In Islam, Allah is the unique, omnipotent, and only deity and creator of the universe, equating to the concept of God in other Abrahamic religions. According to Islamic belief, Allah is the most common term to represent God, and submission to his will, divine ordinances, and commandments is the central pivot of the Muslim faith.
Understanding Allah
Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaah, the main branch of Islam, believe in and confirm all of the attributes of Allah without distorting their meaning. They believe in a God that is separate from his creation and that his creatures are similarly separate from Him. It is stated that Allah is above His seven heavens and is beyond the understanding of his creations. He is the biggest and the most merciful, severe in punishment if disobeyed, and unseen in physical form.
Attributes of Allah
Allah is considered the creator of the universe and is omnipotent. He is all-present within His creation and has no limitations. It is believed that Allah sent His messenger, Prophet Mohammad, to Earth with divine revelations.
Dont worry about such abstract concepts. Focus on leading your life by helping others in need, and you will gradually understand the concept of God in all religions. Allah is present in the hearts of all living beings. He takes care of His children and is happy when they are happy. He is also concerned when they fight among themselves and is ready to take stern actions to guide them towards the right path.
The Size and Nature of Allah
He is smaller than the atom and bigger than the universe. To truly feel and understand Allah, one must fill their heart with love and compassion. Just believe in Divinity and call Him by any name. Every living being on Earth is a child of Allah, and He will guide each one to understand His presence. Love is the ultimate form of Divinity, which is expressed in Tamil as 'Anbe Shivam' (Love is Shiva).
Conclusion
Remember, Allah is bigger than the universe and smaller than an atom. He is present in everything, from the air we breathe to the water we drink. His presence is known through many names and appearances, yet He remains the ultimate power guiding every living being. So fill your heart with love, compassion, and devotion, and understand Allah as the ultimate Divinity in your heart.
