Eligibility Criteria for TGT Social Science in KVS/NVS

Option 1: History (at least 50 marks in aggregate) and one subject out of Geography, Economics, or Political Science (at least 50 marks in aggregate) along with at least 50 marks in graduation.
Option 2: Geography (50 marks in aggregate) and one subject out of History, Economics, or Political Science (at least 50 marks in aggregate) along with at least 50 marks in graduation.
For candidates with an Honours degree in History or Geography, the eligibility criteria slightly differ:
For Honours Degree in History: The candidate should have studied Geography, Economics, or Political Science in the first and/or second year of their graduation. The candidate must have obtained at least 50 marks in History in aggregate, at least 50 marks in the other subject, and at least 50 marks in graduation.
For Honours Degree in Geography: The candidate should have studied History, Economics, or Political Science in the first and/or second year of their graduation. The candidate must have obtained at least 50 marks in Geography in aggregate, at least 50 marks in the other subject, and at least 50 marks in graduation.
Post-Graduate Qualifications for TGT Social Science
It's important to note that candidates who have not studied history and geography in their undergraduate degree can still be eligible if they pursue a post-graduate degree in either of these subjects. Specifically, if a candidate pursues a PG degree in either History or Geography, they will be eligible for the position of PGT (Prepared Graduate Teacher) in History or Geography, respectively.
