If I'm not favorable to transhumanism, I need to have a problem with this and these ideas. In fact, I hope for more refined and accessible enhancements. However, as with any medical advancement, anything taken too far might have negative consequences. How far is too far?

The concept of transhumanism has been with us for longer than we might think. In reality, we are all transhumanists now. When was the last time this thing augmented your communication? It might as well be implanted.

One of the many enhancements I would love to see would be contact lenses that allow me to see the whole electromagnetic spectrum, from radio waves to gamma rays, and everything in between. These lenses would open up a world of possibilities for scientific exploration, and even everyday life.

Another enhancement I desire is artificial skin capable of withstanding extreme temperatures and pressures. With this capability, I could swim into the Mariana Trench or even venture into the void of space. My body would need to be augmented to receive and use energy from various sources, such as the sun, allowing me to breathe underwater or generate oxygen in a vacuum.

Immortality and Beyond

My dream is to become immortal through the use of nano machines coursing through my veins, constantly repairing any damage. My exact brain structure would be uploaded to the cloud every 5 minutes, ensuring a backup of my mind. This information could be used to create an exact replica of my brain and neurons, potentially placed in a cloned or grown cyborg body.

With the advent of such technology, I imagine the people I interact with might be chimeras, their DNA spliced with animals. Imagine a guy with tiger-like strength and agility, possibly adorned with some furry stripes. Or individuals who look like angels with fully functioning wings. These enhancements could even extend to species that no longer resemble humans at all, but are still controlled by human brains.

One of the most notable enhancements I would seek is a connection to the internet of the future lodged in my brain. This would provide me with access to the entirety of human knowledge at any time. My contact lenses could automatically identify and interpret objects based on this vast repository of data.

I also envision a future where I can fly and propel myself through water extremely quickly, much like Iron Man’s thrusters. My body would need to be refined to accommodate such enhancements, and I would have to develop a carbon-based life support system that allows me to breathe in space.
