Steps to Reset your Paytm Password

Open the Paytm App or Website:

Go to the login screen. If you have the Paytm app installed on your device, open it. For web users, access the Paytm website.

Click on 'Forgot Password':

This option is usually found below the password entry field. It prompts you to enter your registered mobile number or email for verification.

Enter Your Registered Mobile Number or Email:

Input the phone number or email associated with your Paytm account.

Receive OTP:

You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS or email. Wait for the OTP before proceeding with the next step.

Enter the OTP:

Input the received OTP in the designated field for verification.

Set a New Password:

Once the OTP is verified, you will be prompted to create a new password. Ensure your new password meets the security requirements set by Paytm.

Log In:

Use your new password to log into your Paytm account. If you face any issues, reach out to Paytm customer support for assistance.

Additional Steps for Passcode Reset (App Users)

Access Profile Settings:

Click on the menu on the top left corner in your Paytm App and then click on your name to open the Profile section.

Select 'Change Passcode':

Scroll down and select the option 'Change Passcode'.

Enter First Four Digits of Aadhaar Number/Current Passcode:

Select the option 'Forgot Paytm Passcode'. Enter the first four digits of your Aadhaar number if you have shared it. If not, enter your Paytm password.

Set a New 4-Digit Numeric Passcode:

Select your new 4-digit numeric passcode and re-enter it for confirmation. Your passcode will be changed successfully.

Alternative Methods for Password Reset

If you face any issues or prefer alternative methods, consider the following options:

Call Paytm Customer Care:

Dial 0120 488 8488 and press '1' to receive a password reset link via phone.

Reach Out via SMS:

If your SIM is lost or you are unable to dial, call an alternative number 0120 392 5699 OR 0120 3888 3888 from a mobile number to receive a link.

Contact Paytm Care Website:

Go to the Paytm Care section on their website. Click on 'Create Ticket' and then 'Account Login or Access Issues'. Fill the form with your registered email ID and mobile number. On the next working day, Paytm will call you to verify and send a password reset link via SMS.

Additional Notes

Please be aware that the password reset link is sent to the registered mobile number only. The link is valid for 15 minutes. For security reasons, do not share this link with anyone.
