For starters, no matter your current schedule or comfort level with AWS, plenty of tools are available to help make learning easier than you might think. The difficulty of learning AWS depends on two primary factors: your technical background and what you will be using AWS for.

Understanding AWS Certifications

I find the best way to structure my AWS learning/expectations is by viewing the AWS Certifications available and determining the extent of how much you need to learn. If you are an Account Manager who wants to learn more about AWS, the 'AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner' might be sufficient. If your interests or work fall more in line with engineering, the 'AWS Certified Developer' would be a good starting point. The latter certification requires a more technical background.

AWS is the largest Cloud provider in the world by a significant margin. Microsoft and Google are in a distant second and third, respectively. This dominance is due to the sheer breadth of services offered and the trust built through years of regulatory compliance and security measures.
