Our quality of life in these areas and more has been and will continue to be increased via technology and science, and I wholeheartedly support it.
However, there is a secondary occurrence as a result of science that is fundamentally detrimental. This occurs due to the thought processes used to initiate scientific postulates and bring about technological advancements. It is the result of the educational procedural means of scientific thought, which can cause a shifting awareness among individuals and humanity; this concerns me.
The scientific conceptualization of a worldview based on its own methodology, which is discerning, is advocated to become the new structural foundation of the societal viewpoint of all of humanity. I have a problem with this ideology, as it can lead to unintended consequences and a loss of our current advantages.
The Inevitability of Technological Advancements and Quantum Supercomputing
The average ‘Joe’ is unaware of the incredible importance of the coming technological advancements that are imminent. The first and most vital area of technological advancement is in the realm of quantum supercomputing capabilities. We are in a 'race of a far greater magnitude of vital interest than the race to get to space or any other human scientific endeavor to include the Oak Ridge creations and the Manhattan Project.
The implications of a country being the first capable of utilizing a sustained and securely in place quantum supercomputer are significant. During such a beginning timeframe, the rest of the entire world would be in a vulnerable position. Understand carefully, no security system coding will be secure for any area. The country with these capabilities can manipulate, shut down, or severely reduce the capabilities of any area or facet of computer-controlled interactions. Areas of military, financial, or energy should be of particular concern here.
