Open WhatsApp on your Android or iPhone. The green and white phone receiver icon is typically found on the home screen or in the app drawer.

Open WhatsApp Web on your Android or iPhone. The steps are different depending on your phone. On Android, tap and select Settings. On iPhone, tap Settings then select Linked Devices.

Line up the QR code on the computer screen in your phone’s viewfinder. WhatsApp on your phone will automatically detect the code and sign you into WhatsApp on the computer. You can put the phone away now if you wish.

Click Contact List in WhatsApp. It’s at the top of WhatsApp toward the left. A list of your contacts will appear.
