The Apocalypse: A New Normal or Christs Arrival?
The Apocalypse: A New Normal or Christ's Arrival?
Is it truly the apocalypse we face today? This term, often misunderstood, actually means unveiling and reveling. It suggests a period where God lifts veils, revealing many mysteries, as the Devil turns the world upside down. In this time, the moral fabric of society is disrupted, leading to confusion, and a blurring of traditional gender roles and values. It's a world where the 'right' becomes 'wrong,' and vice versa, where the idea of a traditional marriage is displaced by more artificial forms. But it's also a time where many will turn towards God for salvation through Jesus.
Throughout history, humans have sought divine intervention in times of hardship, much like the dark ages where the light of Christ's salvation became a beacon in the midst of suffering. God's hope is that as the world descends into turmoil, people will turn to Him. It is a paradoxical notion, where the worst of times could potentially usher in the best of times, as humanity realizes the necessity of turning to faith in Christ.
However, the signs of the times suggest that this is not just a biblical prophecy but a new reality. Climate change, which is intensifying, is a testament to the new normal. Each month, on average, will be hotter than the previous one. This trend is not slowing down but worsening, leading to an inevitable collapse of modern civilization. It is crucial to understand that the end of this age is not just a spiritual matter but also a matter of survival.
While we must acknowledge the severity of the current situation, it is important to remember the promise of Christ's return. According to biblical prophecy, the tribulations will persist until the Messiah, Jesus, returns to Earth to conquer his enemies. The enemies of Christ are numerous, and their ultimate defeat lies with His eventual return. It is a compelling reminder of the power of faith and the promise of salvation.
Why the urgency? As I reflect on my long life, I have been vigilant in fighting against the oil companies' plans to devastate the Earth's biosphere for the enrichment of a few. Now, with each passing year, the situation only worsens. In a chilling future, we may witness families in the US South tragically losing their lives due to extreme heat and lack of resources. The collapse of civilization is not a far-off possibility but a probable reality.
In conclusion, the apocalypse is not just a biblical theory, but a potential reality. Whether it is the lifting of veils to a new normal or Christ's ultimate return, the importance of spiritual and emotional resilience cannot be underestimated. The future may be uncertain, but the comfort and guidance of faith in Christ provide solace amidst the chaos.
