The Future of the Republican Party: Will True Conservatism Return?

The question of whether the real, true Republican Party will ever return hangs in the balance. Many believe this can happen only after the leadership of " keyword[1] " leaves the stage. While some wish for his departure, it's important to note that Trump, at 78, could pass away from natural causes at any time. Regardless, the path toward renewed conservatives within the party remains uncertain.

The Evolution of the Republican Party

Reflecting on my youth, the Republicans were known for their conservative values and fiscal responsibility. However, this has changed significantly over the years.

Since 1956, the party has been on a slippery slope, where money took over principles and greed overpowered integrity. Despite some recent successes, the current incarnation of the party has fallen far from its ideological roots.

Arguments for Rejoining the Republican Party

I may seriously consider rejoining the party if it manages to reclaim its conservative roots. Recent financial expenditures by the party, particularly the $1.8 billion allocated for golf and other personal expenses by the president, have raised eyebrows.

Beyond individual actions, the party must address and defeat elements promoting a big government agenda. To truly rejuvenate, it must clean up its act by implementing rigorous ethical standards.

Conditions for GOP Revival

For the true conservatives' return, the party needs to thoroughly defeat and reject current leaders who prioritize personal gain over public service. This will rid the party of opportunists and those with less influence, paving the way for a return to principles.

If left unchecked, true conservatives will continue to dwindle, becoming a marginalized voice in the party. While doubtful that this shift will occur, I believe significant changes may start after the current election. With Trump losing, he will likely fade into obscurity, devoid of relevance or influence.

His delusional thinking and age will prevent him from running again in 2028. Even if he attempts, he won't be nominated due to his age and previous actions. By 2032, I predict the old GOP will have undergone a rebirth to some extent, aligning more closely with its earlier principles.

While I may not live to see it, by 2032, the Democratic Party may also be less domineering and more resilient, promoting a more civil political discourse. Conservatives and liberals, as intelligent individuals, can learn to coexist peacefully in a democratic society.
