Who is More Powerful: Kumbhakarna or Indrajit Son of Ravana

According to legend, Ravana had received a boon from Lord Brahma that no god, asura, Yaksha, Gandharva, or demon could defeat him. This included Kumbhakarna and other demons of the Treta Yuga. Thus, Ravana is acknowledged as the most powerful rakshasa of his era.

Ravana defeated powerful gods like Lord Indra and Lord Yamraj, and was feared across the world. However, Indrajit did not pose a significant threat to the gods or the world. Indrajit's achievements were mainly due to his magical powers, particularly his Mayavi Rupa, which allowed him to invoke great maya in battle. His defeat by Rama and Lakshmana was due to his invisibility power, and he fled back to Lanka where he was ultimately killed in a fair fight by Lakshmana.

While fighting Rama, Indrajit could not defeat Lakshmana in a fair fight, and he was killed. However, this does not reflect his true potential, as Lakshmana did not use his full strength. Indrajit could potentially defeat Ravana if he completed his Nikumbhala sacrifice, but in any case, Ravana's brawn and endurance make him a formidable opponent.

However, if Indrajit could complete his Nikumbhala sacrifice and fully unleash his mystical powers, he might have a chance to triumph over Ravana.
