Chayan, a GATE pass and candidate for Manufacturing Technology (MT) in NIT Agartala, recounts what it was like to step outside of West Bengal for the first time in his academic journey. NIT Agartala, with its picturesque campus, instantly captured the imagination of all who saw it, leaving a lasting impression on every heart.

Varied Backgrounds and Transformative Moments

Among the 13 MT students, a profound diversity was evident. Each of the 11 states was represented, bringing with it a mosaic of backgrounds, experiences, and expertise. The maximum age difference was only 6 years, with the lightest member weighing 70 kg. Despite this juxtaposition, a deep sense of unity and community flourished. Everyone was supportive and collaborative, sharing notes, and dividing responsibilities among themselves.
